According to a new study, American commuters waste nearly a whole workweek (38 hours every year) sitting in delayed traffic.

And beyond the obvious frustration, the costs are staggering. More than 78 billion dollars in lost time and another 3 billion gallons of wasted fuel.

Some of the worst traffic cities according to the report are Atlanta, San Francisco and Washington, D.C.
