Born and raised in Mount Vernon, New York, meteorologist Elise Finch joined the Weather Plus team in December 2004 from CBS’s affiliate in Phoenix. Her first on-air job was at KAAL in Austin, Minnesota, home of Hormel Foods and fondly referred to as ‘Spamtown’ USA. Before arriving in Arizona, Elise also spent some time reporting the weather in Youngstown, Ohio. A graduate of Georgetown University, she also has a master's degree in Broadcast Journalism from Syracuse University and her certification in Broadcast Meteorology from Mississippi State University.
